Drop Box for MRC materials

QUESTION/SUGGESTION: Could the MRC have a drop box for materials when the MRC is closed?
ANSWER: We have considered that possibility before, but thought it was just as simple for students to return videos to the library’s main service desk on the first floor. Even if we had a drop box in the MRC, the materials would still be overdue if returned past the due date. When we are closed there is no one here to check videos in until the next day. During the regular semester, videos are due back to the MRC information desk by midnight on Sunday through Thursday, and by 5:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. We extended the checkout period from one to three days this year and feel that gives patrons ample time to view and return videos before they are overdue.Thanks for your comments.
